Jazz Band will be offered as a class in the FALL and after school in the SPRING. This class covers fundamentals of jazz theory, styles, interpretations, forms, history, and more. Students in this ensemble are strongly encouraged to audition for All-County/State Jazz Band, participate in jazz clinics, and form small group combos to potentially “gig” and perform a la professional musicians. This group will be a strong visual element to the community, as this group will perform for local and regional functions, community service contributions, and other venues!
