Welcome to the Cane Bay High School Band program. We as a booster organization are looking forward to an exciting year with the Bands of the Bay. We are delighted to have you as a band parent and hopefully booster. If you are a new family to the CBBB, you are about to start a busy, thrilling, and life-enriching experience with an award winning band program. If you are a returning family, we are so glad to have you back with us THANK YOU for your continued support of our wonderful program.

The basic objectives of the CBBB are to inspire, maintain and support with an enthusiastic interest in band activities and to work collaboratively with school officials in maintaining a successful band program. Naturally, as a parent, you are interested in your child’s education, and you’ll quickly find that you will become not only interested in, but also excited and engaged in your child’s music education. The activities afforded through this program can and should be enjoyed by all members of your family, and we look forward to getting to know you!

The success of the Cane Bay High School Band Program depends upon our commitment, time, and resources. Our Director of Bands and his instructional staff are multi-talented, hard-working, dedicated teachers and mentors to your child, but they depend upon the dedication and support of the band boosters to continue the tradition of excellence exhibited by the Bands of the Bay at Cane Bay High School.

You are already a band parent, now we just ask that you join our booster family and get plugged into the program and VOLUNTEER!

We need you and want you! The band boosters have a dedicated board and welcome volunteer support throughout the entire program and year. It takes a huge amount of volunteers and a lot of funding to run this program at a competitive level. However small or large the job may be, the spirit of teamwork is most important.

Get plugged in! The easiest way to get plugged into the booster program is to attend our month booster meetings. At these meetings, you can find out what’s going on, ask questions, and find out all of the ways you can help make positive contributions in your child’s music education. Our booster meetings are on the first Monday of every month at 6 pm in the band room at Cane Bay High School. Be sure to check the calendar before at www.CaneBayBands.org.

We are looking forward to working with each other, our director, staff, and especially YOU, to provide
